PROJECT MANAGER

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial management of project assigned to them. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily project operations by coordinating with site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and progress.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the project Owner and Architect.

  • Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, planning, and organizational skills to support project success.

  • Negotiate and manage contracts and purchase orders with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

  • Facilitate and execute all aspects of the RFI and submittal processes

  • Ensure the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to CEI’s quality standards.  

  • Prepare all documentation for, as well as conduct, monthly OAC meetings.

  • Prepare monthly Owner payment requests and approve monthly subcontractor payment requests.

  • Monthly job cost forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or min. of 10 years of equivalent Multifamily experience.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive multifamily experience including market rate garden style, wrap, mid-rise, and HUD developments.

  • Elevated concrete experience including elevated podium slabs and precast/cast in place parking garages is preferred but not mandatory. 

  • Experience with type III and type V wood frame construction.

  • Must have knowledge of building practices, materials, techniques, permitting processes and requirements.

  • Exhibit strong leadership abilities and a high level of self-motivation, consistently taking initiative and guiding teams toward successful outcomes.

  • Must have strong verbal, written, and organizational skills. 

  • Be proficient in Microsoft word, excel, and project.  Experience with Procore is preferred but not mandatory.
